Each week the Noise highlights under-started names who he believes are destined to torch the competition. To qualify, each player must be started in fewer than 60 percent of Yahoo! leagues. Speaking as an accountability advocate, I will post results, whether genius or moronic, the following week (Scoring thresholds – QB: 18 fantasy points; RB: 12 fantasy points [10 for shockers], WR: 11 fantasy points: TE: 10 fantasy points; .5 PPR).

Christian Watson, Packers

We’re all computer processors in human form. Some of us operate at a 14.4 speed. Others, however, move with a one-tap explosion where full-length movies can be downloaded in seconds.

In a single click, Watson can crunch all 300 seasons — approximately — of Law & Order almost instantaneously.

All the Ice T!

‘Go’ routes are the Green Bay burner’s specialty. Since returning from his latest soft-tissue issue, he’s largely picked up where he left off, providing a boon not only for his squad but also fantasy managers who waited patiently for their late-round lottery ticket.

In three games, Watson has performed at a solid WR3 level in 12-team formats. He and Jordan Love have connected often on explosives, racking useful yardage in the process. Averaging a ridiculous 23.5 yards per catch, he’s netted 62.7 yards per game.

Equally blood stirring are the downfield bomber's advanced metrics. His 15.7 yards per target, 2.32 yards per route run and 25.9 aDOT are off the chart.

His Week 11 matchup only stokes the hype.

Now steered by interim head coach Mike Kafka, the Giants’ defense issues won’t be rectified. They enter the week No. 22 in dropback EPA D and No. 7 in most fantasy points allowed to WRs.

More specifically, Watson will exchange glances most often with pushover Deonte Banks. The accommodating corner has given up a 147.9 passer rating, 86.4 catch%, two touchdowns and the 45th-most yards among qualifying DBs.

Fire up the geek machine and confidently put Watson in your lineup. Throw in Green Bay’s injury impacts among pass catchers and his chances for a season-best line sharply increase.

Fearless Forecast: 4 receptions, 69 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 14.9 fantasy points

The mark of any quality DJ is simple: Play jams, crank the energy and keep the party thumping.

Chicago’s turntable technician has occasionally failed at the fundamentals. In a Bears offense loaded with weapons, he’s often left partygoers standing around desiring more. Six times this season, he fell short of 10+ points in PPR formats — including last week’s string of donuts against the Giants.

Despite the inconsistencies, Moore's secondary profile pumps the possibilities. On 16.6% of the Bears' target share, he's an appreciable No. 25 in yards after catch, No. 32 in yards per target, No. 24 in average, No. 28 in contested catch rate and No. 35 fantasy points per target as tracked at PlayerProfiler. Again, nothing to scoff at.

Every week is a guessing game in a Ben Johnson offense that typically spreads the love. It could be a Rome Odunze week. It's possible Colston Loveland slam dunks the secondary. Heck, maybe Olimadae Zaccheus becomes the guy. All are on the table in a virtual game dependent on guesswork, but based on the projected CB matchup, Moore should have his fair share of spotlight plays.

As a collective, the Vikings rank a respectable No. 11 in dropback EPA defense. Most deterring, they've given up the 10th-fewest fantasy points to WRs. The overall opponent may seem avoidable, but peel back the onion layers and an off-the-screen matchup jumps. Moore is most often slated to face CB Isaiah Rodgers. The red carpet corner has given up an appealing 63.4% catch rate, 13.8 yards per reception and the 18th-most yards to his assignments. Alluring.

Moore's Swiss Army knife usage and slipperiness should inflict damage. Look for Caleb Williams to lock him in 7+ times en route to a strong WR2 showing.

Spin those records, DJ.

Fearless Forecast: 4 receptions, 66 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 6 rushing yards, 15.2 fantasy points

Keep it tight (TE play): Pat Freiermuth, Steelers (7% started, vs. Cin) -- Opposing tight ends clashing with the Bengals mesh together like tacos and tequila. This season, there is arguably no better pairing. This season, the Bungles have surrendered 6.8 receptions per game, 80.2 receiving yards per game, 12 touchdowns and the most fantasy points to TEs. One of roughly a dozen tight ends on the Steelers roster, the plus-sized weapon has become a beloved red-zone target for Aaron Rodgers. Of late, the wrinkly rifleman has connected with Freiermuth a number of times on touchdowns -- three to be exact since Week 7. Though Jonnu Smith and Darnell Washington also vie for the future HOFer’s affections, the product from nearby Penn State is likely to be the red-zone flavor of choice. Heck, this week, even TE fourth-stringer Conner Heyward could splash six. It’s Cincinnati after all. Your butter-fingered bro could catch a TD against them. Collect the easy points.
