Primetime NFL games bring in the numbers -- and the bets. In an attempt to boost gamer bankrolls, this only occasionally profitable bettor will attempt to stack greenbacks under the lights. As always, fade or follow -- that’s up to you.

Prop Play: Omarion Hampton 50+ rush yards vs. Chiefs (+100, ESPN Bet)

The NFL RedZone channel is unquestionably the single greatest sports-viewing invention of the 21st century. Kick rocks, Peyton and Eli.

Hosted by the energized Scott Hanson and featuring non-stop scoring action, it has become a Sunday staple for millions — especially fantasy fans.

Best of all, it’s commercial free … err … it WAS commercial free.

Revealed by Hanson on Wednesday’s The Pat McAfee show, the league-produced program will begin running double-box formatted spots starting Sunday.

Warden Goodell duped us.

If forced to watch a Jardiance ad with annoying people jostling uncomfortably on a chorus line while belting out an ear-murdering tune, heavy objects will be thrown.

Projectiles will also fly if Jim Harbaugh rewards one-eyed Najee Harris with any meaningful carries.

Harbaugh’s declaration on The Rich Eisen Show Thursday the fantasy sought-after rookie is slated to start temporarily eased concerns. It appears Hampton will have every opportunity to be the main man. Your high draft capital spent to acquire him in fantasy was still justified.

Yes, Kansas City boasts a borderline top-10 run defense. Entering the regular season, Pro Football ranked the Chiefs defensive line as the 15th best in the NFL. Last year, the unit finished No. 11 in rush EPA D with LB Leo Chenal posting the second-best run defense grade in the league. Unrelenting across the board, the Chiefs collectively surrendered the second-fewest fantasy points to RBs.

Hampton, though, is a certifiable steamroller. In 2024 with North Carolina, he finished top 10 among all FBS RBs in YAC per attempt (4.35), total missed tackles (73) forced and breakaway runs (26). Undoubtedly, he has the skill set to inflict heavy damage no matter how difficult the matchup.

Best guess, Greg Roman features his line-gashing greenhorn at least 15 times. Our friends at BetAlytics project 64.93 total yards (51.13 rush, 10.80 receiving) for Hampton in his first meaningful pro game, giving him a 42.4% chance of splashing six.

As a fellow optimistic investor of Hampton in several fantasy formats, this numbers nitwit believes he’ll outperform most, if not all, sophisticated forecasts. Stiff arming under-appreciative formulas, the Chargers ball lightning blasts his way to a solid debut.
