NBA Finals Game 4 prop bet: Another sensible Sam Hauser wager

It all comes down to this — Celtics vs. Mavericks in the NBA Finals. For Friday’s Game 4 in Dallas, Brad Evans attempts to win a stinkin' bet. Fade or follow — that’s up to you!

The pick — Sam Hauser OVER 5.5 points (-105, BetMGM)

The MGM Grand in Las Vegas is constructing a new luxury wing to its already opulent property, all thanks to the donations made by this generous sports gamblerAs the units lost clearly show below, the NBA postseason has gutted, punched, suplexed and drop-kicked this bettor into oblivion. We’re bloody. We’re bruised. And we’re very much down for the count.

With the RITHMM app hopefully helping us finish our abysmal playoff run on a high note, we’re again tailing a Hauser prop. The MIT-influenced algo projects him to accumulate 7.9 points, giving the bet an 87.9% percent win probability. Of course, the last time we tailed this for Game 2, he opened up a local Dunkin’, posting donuts on a forgettable 0-for-5 shooting night.

Kristaps Porzingis’ unknown availability enhances the chance of this hitting. With KP on the sidelines in Game 3 — unplugged by an unpronounceable condition — Hauser checked in early, balled out and coasted to nine points. Averaging 13.7 minutes in the Finals, he’s cashed the outlined over in two of three games. He’s also shot an eye-catching 45.5% from three.

Expected to log another 12-15 minutes, Hauser is a sensible wager with or without Porzingis. And there’s always garbage-time potential. If the Mavericks fully surrender and allow the Celtics to build a convincing lead, he could clean up before the party ensues.

Did someone say “party?” This bummed bettor desperately requires a drink.

NBA postseason record: 12-27, -12.23 units (Yes, I’m cursed!)
