The NBA playoffs are always wild, wacky and filled with knife-cuttable drama. With players putting everything on the line in an attempt to bask in championship glory, the pressure-packed games are tremendously fun to wager on. As a result, the sportsbooks offer many creative ways to enhance the action. What is Brad’s favorite prop play in Timberwolves vs. Suns on Friday? Check out his juicy SGP below.

The pick — SGP: Kevin Durant 20+ points, 1+ steal; Suns ML vs. Timberwolves (+130, DraftKings)

DraftKings offer:

Minnesota’s calling card is squeezing the life out of opponents in an anaconda-like fashion.

Down 2-0 in the series against the defensive serpent, the Suns may need to trot out Ice Cube in order to avoid the sweep. They should be able to rise to the occasion and avoid a complete succumbing.

They’re at home, where they tallied a 25-16 record in the regular season. And they have a somewhat stiff defense in their own right, ranking No. 13 in adjusted defensive efficiency by surrendering 1.109 points per possession.

If Frank Vogel’s club (and no, the coach and I are not related despite our matching hairlines) feeds off the partisan crowd’s energy and brings the noise, KD will almost certainly be responsible for registering high decibels inside Footprint Center.

In five games against Minnesota this season, Durant averaged 23.4 points and 1.0 steals. Yes, he only reached the needed thresholds in the same contest twice, but with a playoff career average of 29.3 points, he should fill up the cup. The Wolves also have allowed 8.0 steals per game, the fourth most so far this NBA postseason.

No ophidiophobe, Durant tames the beast and guides Phoenix closer to evening up the series.

NBA postseason record: 5-7, -1.55 units

BONUS TIME — SGP: Pacers ML, Tyrese Haliburton 10+ assists (+104, DraftKings)
