Caitlin Clark prop bet: How exactly will she set all-time scoring record?

Alongside Wilt, Michael, Larry and LeBron at the roundtable of basketball greats sits the queen of the college game, Caitlin Clark. Wearing a bejeweled crown, velvet cloak and slew of scoring records, she is a living empress and arguably the biggest attraction in the modern game regardless of affiliation or level.

Appreciate her awe, commoner.

Her already otherworldly legend is only bound to grow.

Clark is just 18 points shy of breaking Pete Maravich’s all-time college scoring mark of 3,667 points. Suffice it to say, anticipation is high. And the goosebumps-raising backdrop only ratchets the excitement for Sunday’s memorable moment.

Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Senior Night. Big Ten titan Ohio State in the house. Yep, you could cut the drama with a knife.

The cheapest ticket to witness history? A whopping $378 for standing room only. You want an actual seat? Well, you’re going to have to donate additional plasma at the local blood bank.

For those choosing to watch an event possibly never to happen again in our lifetimes, here’s even more good news: You can bet on exactly how Clark will reach the college game’s career points pinnacle.

From DraftKings:

For my money, another record obliterating trey bomb, probably hurled from an absurd distance, is the wager. This season, Clark is shooting 39.5% on 3-pointers, averaging a practically outlandish 5.4 makes per game. Ohio State is a stellar defensive team, but given her quick draw, quite possibly the fastest gun in all of basketball, no foe will deny her.

To be fair, unlike when she became the women’s all-time leading scorer, with a logo 3 no less, the shot won’t be premeditated. There’s too much on the line given the opponent. Still, the surpassing of Pistol Pete is most likely to happen with a Clark long-distance hoist. I’m willing to slap the wallet on the heavy -145 juice.

Monarchical rule in this country may have officially ended with the 1783 Treaty of Paris, but, when it comes to college basketball, absolute power exists.

Bow down to Queen Caitlin.
