A sizable favorite on the road, Sean McVay's supposed NFC frontrunner went into Bank of America Stadium and oddly exited with an unexpected L. Lit up for 358 total yards while surrendering 31 points, the Rams allowed Bryce Young and company to land repeated body blows via ground and air. Young's 43-yard connected with Tetairoa McMillan with 6:34 remaining sealed the deal.
Overlooked in the defeat, Adams proved virtually uncontainable. Panthers corner Mike Jackson conceded two touchdowns to the red-zone raker. Including that unsavory effort, Jackson has given up four TDs and the 13th-most yards (610) of any DB this year.
