GAME OF THE NIGHT: Boston Bruins at Florida Panthers, 7 p.m. ET

David Pastrnak under 4.5 shots on goal (-160)

Brandon Velaski — Yes, it’s juiced to the under, but we need winners so you can parlay it with Lou’s Bedard pick below for better odds. Pasta has been under this number in three of the last four games, and he managed just two shots in each of the previous two meetings with Florida this season.

SGP: Bruins ML at Panthers and Under 6.5 (+240)

Lou Saccomando — The fight for the Atlantic Division begins Tuesday with these two titans playing for the third time this season. The Bruins won the first two contests (one at home, one on the road), and the Panthers have lost three of their last four home games. In last year’s playoffs, Florida overcame a 3-1 series deficit to eliminate Boston. The teams could very well meet again this postseason, maybe even in the Eastern Conference Final.

MORE PICKS

Alex Ovechkin anytime goal vs. Red Wings (+120)

Brandon Velaski — That’s incredible value for the second-greatest goal scorer in NHL history who is on an absolute tear right now. Ovi has eight goals in his last five games as he chases Wayne Gretzky’s all-time record. The Capitals captain has 23 goals in 33 career games against Detroit.

Connor Bedard over 3.5 SOG vs. Flames (+110)

Lou Saccomando — This same bet has hit for me the last two times, so I might as well go back to the well one more time. Bedard has 10 shots over his last two games, and Calgary allows the 12th-most shots per game in the NHL at just over 30. So let’s go Connor. Let’s make it a great night.
