Position top targets: QB | RB | WR | TE | Bijan No. 1?
Making BOLD predictions is part of the job description as CEO of #TeamHuevos. Every NFL season, strange and unexpected occurrences happen, with few ever seeing the out-of-left-field developments coming.
Despite the frustrations, unpredictability is what keeps all gamers on their toes. Ahead of the 2024 NFL season, here are 10 very disputable bold takes.
1. The Detroit Lions, who’ve never won a Super Bowl title in franchise history, will get off the schneid and hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the first time ever (+1200 at BetMGM). David Montgomery (#MandatoryMontgomery) splashes for six 16 times en route to the championship. Eminem and friends party hard.
2. Thirty-one-year-old Cooper Kupp is the most coveted Rams offensive player as he amasses 100-plus catches, 1300-plus receiving yards, 7-9 touchdowns and a top-five finish among fantasy wideouts.
3. Arthur Smith be damned. Bijan Robinson totals at least 1,500 combined yards, scores 15 or more touchdowns and sets the pace among fantasy running backs in 0.5 PPR total scoring. The “But Tyler Allgeier” crowd is forced into hiding. Meanwhile, backers of Robinson for Offensive Player of the Year cash tickets at +2000 (BetMGM).
4. Caleb Williams delivers on the hype and throws 25-plus touchdown passes. On a related note, the Bears win 10 games, make the playoffs and reach the NFC Championship Game.
5. Patrick Mahomes doesn’t quite establish a new career high in touchdown passes, but with new weapons Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown, he compiles 45 or more passing touchdowns, easily delivering for those who tossed a few bucks on him to lead the league in passing TDs at +650 (DraftKings).

6. Perceived young hotshots Jahmyr Gibbs (ADP: 15.45, RB5), Marvin Harrison Jr. (15.39, WR9) and Malik Nabers (35.14, WR21) finish well behind where their fantasy draft day ADPs had them going on average.
7. Isaiah Likely is one of the hottest waiver wire adds after an eye-opening opener against Kansas City. In a Dalton Kincaid-like role with the Ravens, Likely is one of the surprise tight ends of the fantasy season and finishes inside the position’s top 10. In total, he catches 55 passes for 650 yards and six touchdowns.
8. Will Levis busts out in a big way on a Titans team in constant catch-up mode. In his sophomore season, he throws for at least 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns. As a result, he tucks inside the QB top 12 in fantasy total scoring.
9. Romeo Doubs becomes one of the game’s most indispensable red-zone weapons among wide receivers and hauls in 10 or more touchdown receptions.
10. Jaleel McLaughlin rises to the occasion in the Mile High City, catches at least 55 passes, cracks the RB2 ranks in 12-team PPR leagues and outproduces backfield compadre Javonte Williams in total scoring.
BONUS TIME: Jayden Daniels staves off the injury imp, plays at least 15 games and rushes for 700-plus yards in his inaugural campaign. He lands inside the all-time top 15 in rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season.
